Human Typo is a metadesign research focused on exploring new and original solutions related to the gradual modulation of light. Light is understood as an archetype that shapes the world, not only in an intelligible way, but also and above all in a sensitive way.
The goal is to create an analogy between light and typography, since both allow to shape the existing, establishing a relationship between various configurations in a three-dimensional space, in order to generate a new production of meaning.
Typography was born as a printing process using movable type, it is a fundamental part of communication, capable of becoming a graphic element by modulating itself according to precise rules. From our point of view, typography is written imagination, it is change and at the same time permanence, which derives from the formal versatility it can assume.
We understand light as creation, becoming and changing of forms, knowledge and realities. Light contributes to the vital rhythm through the alternation between fullness and emptiness, it presents itself as an eternal and tangible element that allows to give energy to everything that surrounds it.
